(30) باب لاَ تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا

(30) Chapter: A lady-neighbour should not degrade anything given by her lady-neighbour (AR)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ـ هُوَ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ ـ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " يَا نِسَاءَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ لاَ تَحْقِرَنَّ جَارَةٌ لِجَارَتِهَا وَلَوْ فِرْسِنَ شَاةٍ ".

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say, "O Muslim ladies! A neighbouress should not look down upon the present of her neighbouress even it were the hooves of a sheep." (AR)
