(465) بَابُ مَنْ دَهَنَ يَدَهُ لِلْمُصَافَحَةِ

(465) Chapter: The person who oils his hand for the handshake (AR)

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، عَنْ قُرَيْشٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ هُوَ ابْنُ حَيَّانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا كَانَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ ادَّهَنَ يَدَهُ بِدُهْنٍ طَيِّبٍ لِمُصَافَحَةِ إِخْوَانِهِ.


It is reported by Thabit al-Bannani that Anas used to oil hishand with scented oil in the morning for the sake of shaking hands withhis brothers. (AR)
