(39) باب فِي ذِي الْوَجْهَيْنِ

(39) Chapter: Regarding the one who is two-faced (AR)

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مِنْ شَرِّ النَّاسِ ذُو الْوَجْهَيْنِ الَّذِي يَأْتِي هَؤُلاَءِ بِوَجْهٍ وَهَؤُلاَءِ بِوَجْهٍ " .

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet (May peace be upon him) as saying:
The worst of the people is a man who is double-faced; he presents one face to some and another to others. (AR)
