(91) باب قَدْرِ كَمْ يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ بَيْنَ الْمُصَلِّي وَالسُّتْرَةِ

(91) Chapter: What should be the distance between the person offering Salat (prayer) and the Sutra? (AR)

حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ جِدَارُ الْمَسْجِدِ عِنْدَ الْمِنْبَرِ مَا كَادَتِ الشَّاةُ تَجُوزُهَا.

Narrated Salama:
The distance between the wall of the mosque and the pulpit was hardly enough for a sheep to pass through. (AR)
