(4) باب إِبَاحَةِ مَيْتَاتِ الْبَحْرِ

(4) Chapter: Permissibility of dead animals from the sea (DE)

وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ - عَنْ هِشَامِ، بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ بَعَثَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَنَحْنُ ثَلاَثُمِائَةٍ نَحْمِلُ أَزْوَادَنَا عَلَى رِقَابِنَا .

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported:
Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) sent us (on an expedition), and we were three hundred in number, and we were carrying our bags of provisions around our necks. (DE)
