It wasnarrated that 'Aishah said:
"Jibril (as) promised theMessengerof Allah (ﷺ) that he would come to him at a certain hour,but hewas late. The Prophet (ﷺ) went out and there was Jibrilstanding atthe door. He said: 'What kept you from entering?' He said:'Thereis a dog in the house, and we do not enter a house in whichthere isa dog or an image.'" (DE)
