(26) باب مَنْ سَأَلَ عَنْ ظَهْرِ، غِنًى

(26) Chapter: One who asks when he is not in need (DE)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ وَلاَ لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ " .

Abu Hurairah narrated that:
the Messenger of Allah said: "Charity is not permissible for a rich person, or for one who is strong and healthy. " (DE)
