(8) باب كَرَاهَةِ مَا زَادَ عَلَى الْحَاجَةِ مِنَ الْفِرَاشِ وَاللِّبَاسِ

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَرْحٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ،أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، يَقُولُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلمقَالَ لَهُ " فِرَاشٌ لِلرَّجُلِ وَفِرَاشٌ لاِمْرَأَتِهِ وَالثَّالِثُ لِلضَّيْفِ وَالرَّابِعُ لِلشَّيْطَانِ " .

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that Allah's Messengor (ﷺ) said:
There should be a bedding for a man. a bedding for his wife and the third one for the guest, and the fourth one is for the Satan. (DE)
