(615) بَابُ إِثْمِ مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدِ

(615) Chapter: The wrong action of someone who plays backgammon (DE)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، وَقَبِيصَةُ، قَالاَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: مَنْ لَعِبَ بِالنَّرْدَشِيرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا صَبَغَ يَدَهُ فِي لَحْمِ خِنْزِيرٍ وَدَمِهِ.


Burayda reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and granthim peace, said, "Someone who plays backgammon is like a person who putshis hand in the meat and blood of a pig." (DE)
