Samurah bin Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Begging is a cut that a person inflicts upon his face; except for asking a ruler, or under the stress of circumstances from which there is no escape."[At- Tirmidhi]. (DE)
