(9) باب ذِكْرِ الاِخْتِلاَفِ عَلَى الزُّهْرِيِّ

(9) Chapter: Mentioning the Differences Reported from Az-Zuhri (DE)

أَخْبَرَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ فُضَيْلٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا " .

It was narrated from 'Aishah, from the Prophet:
"The hand of the thief is to be cut off for one-quarter of a Dinar or more." (DE)
