(22) باب الْعُقُوبَاتِ
It was narrated from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"Nothing increases one's life span except righteousness andnothingrepels the Divine decree except supplication, and a man maybedeprived of provision by a sin that he commits.'" (DE)
