(25) باب الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى النُّفَسَاءِ

(25) Chapter: The Funeral Prayer For A Woman Who Dies During Childbirth (DE)

أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ، - يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمَ - عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى أُمِّ كَعْبٍ مَاتَتْ فِي نِفَاسِهَا فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الصَّلاَةِ فِي وَسَطِهَا .

It was narrated that Samurah said:
"I offered the funeral prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for Umm Ka'b who had died during childbirth, and during the prayer, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood at her middle." (DE)
