(81) باب طَرْحِ الْخَاتَمِ وَتَرْكِ لُبْسِهِ

(81) Chapter: Discarding a Ring and Not Wearing it Anymore (DE)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قِرَاءَةً عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا فَصَنَعُوهُ فَلَبِسُوهُ فَطَرَحَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ .

It was narrated from Anas that:
He saw a ring of silver on the hand of the Messenger of Allah [SAW] one day, and the people made and wore similar rings. Then the Prophet [SAW] threw his ring away and the people threw their rings away too. (DE)
