(7) باب عَلاَمَ تُعْبَرُ بِهِ الرُّؤْيَا

(7) Chapter: How Should Dreams be Interpreted (DE)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اعْتَبِرُوهَا بِأَسْمَائِهَا وَكَنُّوهَا بِكُنَاهَا وَالرُّؤْيَا لأَوَّلِ عَابِرٍ " .

It wasnarrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)said:
"Interpret them (dreams) in accordance with the names of thethingsyou see, and understand what is hinted at, and the dream is forthefirst interpreter." (DE)
