(23) باب مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنَ النَّوْمِ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ

(23) Chapter: What is disliked about sleeping before the 'Isha prayer (ES)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا.

Narrated Abu Barza:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) disliked to sleep before the `Isha' prayer and to talk after it. (ES)
