(1) باب الْحَثِّ عَلَى طَلَبِ الْعِلْمِ

(1) Chapter: Regarding the virtue of knowledge (ES)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قَالَ لَقِيتُ شَبِيبَ بْنَ شَيْبَةَ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سَوْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، - يَعْنِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - بِمَعْنَاهُ .


The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu al-Darda through a different chain of narrators to the same effect from the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) (ES)
