(16) باب الزِّينَةِ لِلْخُطْبَةِ لِلْعِيدَيْنِ

(16) Chapter: Adorning oneself for the 'Eid Khutbah (ES)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي رِمْثَةَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدَانِ أَخْضَرَانِ .

It was narrated that Abu Rimthah said:
"I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering the Khutbah, wearing two green Burds." (ES)
