باب 6

(6) باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ الاِنْتِبَاذِ فِي الْمُزَفَّتِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَبَيَانِ أَنَّهُ مَنْسُوخٌ وَأَنَّهُ الْيَوْمَ حَلاَلٌ مَا لَمْ يَصِرْ مُسْكِرًا

(6) Chapter: The prohibition of making Nabidh in Al-Muzaffat, Ad-Dubba' (Gourds), Al-Hantam and An-Naqir; This has been abrogated and now it is permitted, so long as it does not become intoxicating (ES)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ وَالنَّقِيرِ .


Ibn 'Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade the (preparation of Nabidh) in gourd in pitcher besmeared with pitch, in varnished jar, and in hollow stumps. (ES)
