باب 59

(59) باب اسْتِحْبَابِ النُّزُولِ بِالْمُحَصَّبِ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ وَالصَّلاَةِ بِهِ

(59) Chapter: It is recommended to halt at Al-Muhassab on the day of departing from Mina and to perform Zuhr and subsequent prayers there (ES)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ نُزُولُ الأَبْطَحِ لَيْسَ بِسُنَّةٍ إِنَّمَا نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَسْمَحَ لِخُرُوجِهِ إِذَا خَرَجَ .

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported.:
Halt at al-Abtah is not the Sunnah. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) halted there simply because it was easier for him to depart from there, when he left. (ES)
