(10) باب صِفَةِ النَّارِ وَأَنَّهَا مَخْلُوقَةٌ

(10) Chapter: The description of the (Hell) Fire and the fact that it has already been created (ES)

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعَ عَطَاءً، يُخْبِرُ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَعْلَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقْرَأُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ }.

Narrated Yali:
That he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) on the pulpit reciting:-- "They will cry: "O Malik!' (43.77) (Malik is the gate-keeper (angel) of the (Hell) Fire.) (ES)
