(477) بَابُ السَّلامِ عَلَى الصِّبْيَانِ

(477) Chapter: The Greeting to Children (ES)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ مَرَّ عَلَى صِبْيَانٍ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَقَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَفْعَلُهُ بِهِمْ.


Thabit al-Bannani reported that Anas ibn Malik walked by somechildren and greeted them. He said, "The Prophet, may Allah bless him andgrant him peace, used to do that." (ES)
