(46) باب بَرَكَةِ النَّخْلِ

(46) Chapter: The goodness of the date-palm tree. (ES)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ "مِنَ الشَّجَرِ شَجَرَةٌ تَكُونُ مِثْلَ الْمُسْلِمِ، وَهْىَ النَّخْلَةُ ".

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is a tree among the trees which is similar to a Muslim (in goodness), and that is the date palm tree." (ES)
