(35) باب التَّغْلِيظِ فِي تَفْوِيتِ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ

(35) Chapter: Stern warning against missing the `Asr prayer (ES)

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ كَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ " .

Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
He who misses the afternoon prayer, it is as though he has been deprived of his family and his property. (ES)
