(51) باب الْعُذْرِ فِي تَرْكِ الْجَمَاعَةِ

(51) Chapter: Excuse for not praying in the congregation (ES)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِحُنَيْنٍ فَأَصَابَنَا مَطَرٌ فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ .

It was narrated from Abu Al Malih that his father said:
"We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in Hunain and it rained. The caller of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)called out, telling us: 'Pray whereyou are."' (ES)
