(9) باب ذِكْرِ الاِخْتِلاَفِ عَلَى الزُّهْرِيِّ

(9) Chapter: Mentioning the Differences Reported from Az-Zuhri (ES)

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَطَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ .

It was narrated from 'Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, that:
the Messenger of Allah cut off (a thief's hand) for one quarter of a Dinar. (ES)
