It was narrated from Samurah that:
the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) forbade celibacy. Zaid bin Akhzam added: "And Qatadah recited: 'And indeed We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad (ﷺ)), and made for them wives and offspring.'" (FR)
