(30) باب فَضْلِ الْغَدْوَةِ وَالرَّوْحَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ

(30) Chapter: The virtue of going out in the morning or the evening in the cause of Allah (FR)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ، بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " .

It has been narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Leaving (for Jihad) in the way of Allah in the morning or in the evening (will merit a reward) better than the world and all that is in it. (FR)
