It wasnarrated from 'Umar that he used to forbid silk and brocadeexceptthat which was like that, then he gestured with his finger,then hissecond finger, then his third, then his fourth,* and said:
"TheMessenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to forbid that to us." (FR)
