It wasnarrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"Ja'far bin Abu Talib used tolike the poor; he would sit with them and talk to them, and theywouldtalk to him. And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave him theKunyah ofAbul-Masakin (Father of the Poor)." (FR)
