(22) باب النَّهْىِ عَنْ صَوْمِ، يَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمِ الأَضْحَى

(22) Chapter: The prohibition of fasting on the two days of 'Id (FR)

وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَتْنِي عَمْرَةُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - رضى الله عنها - قَالَتْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ صَوْمَيْنِ يَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمِ الأَضْحَى .


'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade to observe fast on two days-the day of Fitr and the day of Adha. (FR)
