(6) باب هِدَايَةِ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ لِيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ

(6) Chapter: This Ummah has been guided to Friday (ID)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ، حَدَّثَنِي رِبْعِيُّ بْنُ، حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هُدِينَا إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ وَأَضَلَّ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَنَا " . فَذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ .

Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
We were guided aright to Friday (as a day of prayer and meditation), but Allah diverted those who were before us from it. The rest of the hadith is the same. (ID)
