(12) باب كَفِّ اللِّسَانِ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ
Sufyan bin 'Abdullah Thaqafi said:
"I said: 'O Messenger ofAllah,tell me of something that I can adhere to.' He said: 'Say:"Allah ismy Lord," then stand straight (adhere steadfastly toIslam).' He said:'O Messenger of Allah, what is the thing thatyou fear most for me?'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took hold ofhis own tongue, then hesaid: 'This.'" (ID)
