(1) باب مَا جَاءَ فِي إِجَابَةِ الدَّعْوَةِ

(1) Chapter: What has been reported about accepting invitations (ID)

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا دَعَا أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُجِبْ عُرْسًا كَانَ أَوْ نَحْوَهُ " .

Ibn 'Umar reported the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) as saying:
if one of you invites his brother, he should accept(the invitation), whether it is a wedding feast or something of that nature. (ID)
