Chapter 2

باب 2

(2) باب مَنْ قَالَ إِنَّ صَاحِبَ الْمَاءِ أَحَقُّ بِالْمَاءِ حَتَّى يَرْوَى

(2) Chapter: Superfluous water should not be withheld from others (IT)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ يُمْنَعُ فَضْلُ الْمَاءِ لِيُمْنَعَ بِهِ الْكَلأُ ".

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not withhold the superfluous water, for that will prevent people from grazing their cattle." (IT)
