(31) باب قَدْرِ الطَّرِيقِ إِذَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ

(31) Chapter: The width of the road if there is a dispute about it (IT)

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَامِلٍ، فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ جُعِلَ عَرْضُهُ سَبْعَ أَذْرُعٍ " .

Abu Haraira reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:
When you disagree about a path, its breadth should be made seven cubits. (IT)
