(25) باب اغْتِسَالِ الصَّائِمِ

(25) Chapter: Taking a bath by a person observing Saum (fast) (IT)

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، وَأَبِي، بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُدْرِكُهُ الْفَجْرُ {جُنُبًا} فِي رَمَضَانَ، مِنْ غَيْرِ حُلُمٍ فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ.

Narrated `Aisha:
(At times) in Ramadan the Prophet (ﷺ) used to take a bath in the morning not because of a wet dream and would continue his fast. (IT)
