باب 68

(68) باب تَأَلُّفِ قَلْبِ مَنْ يَخَافُ عَلَى إِيمَانِهِ لِضَعْفِهِ وَالنَّهْيِ عَنِ الْقَطْعِ بِالإِيمَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِ دَلِيلٍ قَاطِعٍ

(68) Chapter: Being kind to one for whose faith there is concern because it is weak; Prohibition of attributing Faith to someone without definitive evidence (IT)

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سَعْدٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَعْطَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَهْطًا وَأَنَا جَالِسٌ فِيهِمْ . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ . وَزَادَ فَقُمْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَارَرْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ مَا لَكَ عَنْ فُلاَنٍ .

Sa'd reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) bestowed upon a group of persons (booty) and I was sitting with them. The remaining part of the hadith is the same as mentioned (above) with the additionI stood up and went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and whispered to him: Why did you omit such and such a man? (IT)
