باب 10

(10) باب ذِكْرِ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ وَمَا فِيهِمَا مِنَ الْجَلْسَةِ

(10) Chapter: The two khutbah before the prayer, and sitting briefly in between them (IT)

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خُطْبَتَانِ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ .

Jabir b. Samura said:
The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) gave two sermons between which he sat, recited the Qur'an and exhorted the people. (IT)
