باب 30

(30) باب ذَبْحِ الإِمَامِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ وَعَدَدِ مَا يَذْبَحُ

(30) Chapter: Imam offering a sacrifice on the day of 'Eid and the number (of animals) he may slaughter (PT)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنِ اللَّيْثِ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ فَرْقَدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَذْبَحُ أَوْ يَنْحَرُ بِالْمُصَلَّى .

It was narrated from Nafi that:
Abdullah (bin Umar) told him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to offer sacrifice in the prayer place. (PT)
