(94) بَابُ قِصَاصِ الْعَبْدِ

(94) Chapter: The qisas (retaliation) of the slave (PT)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُمَرَ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا لَيْلَى قَالَ: خَرَجَ سَلْمَانُ فَإِذَا عَلَفُ دَابَّتِهِ يَتَسَاقَطُ مِنَ الْآرِيِّ، فَقَالَ لِخَادِمِهِ: لَوْلاَ أَنِّي أَخَافُ الْقِصَاصَ لَأَوْجَعْتُكَ.


Abu Layla said, "Salman went out and when his animal fodder fellfrom the manger, he told his servant, 'If it were not that I fear retaliation,I would make you hurt (i.e. by beating you)." (PT)
