(20) باب مَا جَاءَ أَنَّ سَاقِيَ الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ شُرْبًا

(20) Chapter: What Has Been Related About The One Providing Water For People Is The Last Of Them To Drink (RU)

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " سَاقِي الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ شُرْبًا " . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .

Narrated Abu Qatadah:
That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The one providing water for people is the last of them to drink."He said: There is something on this topic from Ibn Abi Awfa.[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. (RU)
