حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى حَكِيمِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ: لاَ تَكُونُوا عُجُلاً مَذَايِيعَ بُذُرًا، فَإِنْ مِنْ وَرَائِكُمْ بَلاَءً مُبَرِّحًا مُمْلِحًا، وَأُمُورًا مُتَمَاحِلَةً رُدُحًا.


Hukaym ibn Sa'd heard 'Ali say, "Do not be hasty, spreading anddivulging secrets. Ahead of you lies a severe, distressing affliction andevents which would take a long time explain - namely oppressive conflicts." (RU)
