(10) باب تَحْرِيمِ التَّبَخْتُرِ فِي الْمَشْىِ مَعَ إِعْجَابِهِ بِثِيَابِهِ

(10) Chapter: The Prohibition Against Strutting With Pride, And Being Amazed With One's Clothes (RU)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " إِنَّ رَجُلاًمِمَّنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ يَتَبَخْتَرُ فِي حُلَّةٍ " . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِهِمْ .

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
There was a person (living before you) who took pride in his cloak. the rest of the hadith is the same. (RU)
