(11) باب مَا يُقْطَعُ فِيهِ السَّارِقُ

(11) Chapter: For what the hand of a thief is to be cut off (RU)

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يَقْطَعُ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا .

'A'ishah said:
The prophet (ﷺ) used to cut off a thief's hand for a quarter of a dinar and upwards. (RU)
