(11) باب مَا يُقْطَعُ فِيهِ السَّارِقُ

(11) Chapter: For what the hand of a thief is to be cut off (RU)

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَطَعَ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ .

Ibn 'Umar' said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had thief's hand cut off for a shield worth three dirhams. (RU)
