باب 46

(46) باب مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنَ الصِّيَامِ فِي السَّفَرِ

(46) Chapter: It is disliked to fast when traveling (JA)

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ " .

It was narrated that Kab bin 'Asim said:
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say; 'It is not righteousness to fast when traveling."' (JA)
