It wasnarrated that Nu'man bin Bashir said:
"I heard 'Umar binKhattab say: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) writhing withhungerduring the day, and he could not even find the worst of dateswithwhich to fill his stomach.'" (JA)
