(5) Chapter: Wiping over Socks (JA)

عَنْ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: { كُنْتُ مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَتَوَضَّأَ, فَأَهْوَيْتُ لِأَنْزِعَ خُفَّيْهِ, فَقَالَ: "دَعْهُمَا, فَإِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُهُمَا طَاهِرَتَيْنِ" فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ (74) .3 - صحيح. رواه البخاري (206)، ومسلم (274) (79).

Narrated Mughira bin Shu'ba (rad):
Once I was in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ), he then performed ablution and I dashed to take off his socks. He said, "Leave them for I had put them on after performing ablution". So he wiped over them [Agreed Upon]. (JA)
