(19) باب إِبَاحَةِ الذَّبْحِ بِالْعُودِ
It was narrated that 'Adiyy bin Hatim said:
"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I release my dog and I catch the game, but I cannot find anything to slaughter it with, so I slaughter it with a Marwah or a stick,; He said: 'Shed the blood with whatever you wish, and say the name of Allah."' (JA)
